Yesterday Mark picked up his £50 voucher from Scott at TFL,Once again thanks to Scott for putting up the offer of the voucher,and well done again to Mark.

First springer 2013

Mark Lambert managed to get this years first Spring fish of the season ,a fine 12 lb fish on the fly covered in long tailed  sea lice .
Well done to Mark.

The fish was  photographed and returned.

Spring Update

As yet we have had no reports of any spring fish being caught,I have been on the water a few times over the past month and hardly met anyone, this may be one of the reasons we have not had a Springer yet,the weather could be holding most of anglers back until it heats up a bit.

There has been reports of quite a lot of kelt still about so once again we would ask to carefully return them.

This time last year we had had a couple of Spring fish but the weather was not as severe as it is now.

I heard the Leven got it's first fish of the season on Saturday, a fine fish of 9 lb on the fly and returned,well done the captor.

Lets hope the weather changes soon and enables more guys out on the water to get one of the elusive Clyde Springers.
