Spring Update

As yet we have had no reports of any spring fish being caught,I have been on the water a few times over the past month and hardly met anyone, this may be one of the reasons we have not had a Springer yet,the weather could be holding most of anglers back until it heats up a bit.

There has been reports of quite a lot of kelt still about so once again we would ask to carefully return them.

This time last year we had had a couple of Spring fish but the weather was not as severe as it is now.

I heard the Leven got it's first fish of the season on Saturday, a fine fish of 9 lb on the fly and returned,well done the captor.

Lets hope the weather changes soon and enables more guys out on the water to get one of the elusive Clyde Springers.
