Opening day 2015

Saturday 14/02/15 at Carmyle Bowling Club  1 River Road Glasgow G32 8EG from 9 am for rolls and sausage,pies, sausage rolls ,tea and coffee,we will assemble at 9.45 and piped to the water where the association president
 will make a short speech ,the river will be blessed and the first cast made by our honoured guest Kemp Meikle from  R.C.M.T Ltd.
Then its back to the club for refreshments.
Once again the club has come and offered us their facilities for opening day and for that we are very grateful.
Hope to see a full house.

AGM 2014

Thanks to the 31 members who turned up tonight for our AGM.
One of the things covered was, out of the eighty fish caught last season only nine were retained, that's going by  the information we received on the catch returns that were submitted back to us.
Out of the 166  permits sold 115 were sent back to the club 56 didn't bother.
Anyone who failed to submit their returns will be charged an extra £10 when applying for their permit for 2015 season all monies raise will go to our chosen charities for next year which are.
Chas charity who operate Robins house children's hospice in Balloch on the banks of Loch Lomond  ,and ward 2 Yorkhill Hospital for terminally ill children
Please dig deep when the raffle tickets go on sale for two very worthy causes.
All members are reminded that permits MUST be carried with them when intending to fish.
From opening day until 30 April 2015 it will be catch and release ONLY

New steps

Rab and his boys have been busy the past couple of days making an easier and safer route down to the Bridge pool and the second run.

2015 Day Permits

Due to unreturned permit books we have to change the colour of the Salmon day permits from next season,The new permits are being printed now.
The numbers of the RED unreturned permits are from 0318 to 0350,please do not buy any of these permits if offered to you.
