More about Crayfish

Jimmy Delaney has been working on a document about this invasive species, he has put a lot of work into as you will see, and has plans to try and survey our river to see if they are present in our waters.
To read Jimmy's terrific article please click Here
Once again our thanks goes out to Jimmy for the continued hard work he is and has been doing on behalf of us and our river.

Survey Update

4 sites were surveyed on Sunday evening
Dalmarnock 10
Bothwell Bridge 60 approximately
Tulliford 16
Strathclyde Park 4
The Dalmarnock birds were on the left bank just downstream of the Sewage Treatment Works.
Although the roost is just downstream of the end of our lease the birds came in from up stream.
It is in our interest to monitor them.

Again thanks to Jimmy for passing on this info.
