A  rod and tackle test day with Scott Mackenzie and Andrew Toft

We would like to invite all members and anglers even non members to an open demonstration and tackle test day of the new  Generation of Mackenzie  Dtx tackle
 The venue is Blantyre weir on the 27th of may from 10 00 am until 04 00pm,

There will be hot drinks and a hot roll available on the day for all who attend at no cost
 The weir is next to the David Livingstone centre 165 Station road, Blantyre, G72 9BT
There is ample parking all around
 The venue is also beside the river so please be sensible and wear correct footwear for the riverbank and bring wellies at a minnimum if you intend to test the equipment

The centre in its own right has nice gardens  a visitor centre and a mueseum to David Livingstone so somwhere for the wife and kids if they dont fancy shopping in Hamilton or East kilbryde when you attend
 Use the postcode in your sat nav alternativley,  There is a  train station at Blantyre,  turn right down the hill couple of hundred metres and you will find us no problem
 THERE IS STRICTLY NO PARKING AT ANYTIME IN THE RESIDENTS CAR PARK AT THE FLATS BESIDE THE RIVER
Blantyre train station is serviced well on a sunday there are trains from Dalmuir through  Glasgow ,trains from Motherwell and Larkhall check your local timetable

Furthe Updates
 Last week we had some rain and the fishing improved for a bit some fish were caught as the river dropped and fined down from the rain hopefully the fish are starting to arrive
